Don Noble
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Don received a Bachelor of Education in music from the University of Toledo in 1962. He completed a double performance major through study as a violinist and also completed a vocal certification at the same time. At the age of nineteen Don was hired to conduct the choirs at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a position that he held for several years. While in college he played bass with local jazz groups at area clubs, and did arrangements for several Ohio area Big Bands. After graduation from the University of Toledo, he spent three years teaching at Toledo Central Catholic High School, and also played for two seasons with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. In 1968 Don, his wife Rachel, and son Michael moved to a Suburb of Detroit where he joined the faculty of Wyandotte Public Schools. Soon daughter Laura came along.

After completing a Masters Degree in School Administration he was appointed to a principalship in the Wyandotte School System. For the next nineteen years he devoted his time to his family and his administrative duties. Eventually music became a very active part of Don's life again, and now that he is retired from his education career, he has returned to his writing duties again.
